E-Books for Kids Get Publishers' Attention Daily Finance
The American people are again being bamboozled into SPENDING and BUYING.....by corporate greed looking for PROFITS. Can't they figure it out? People from the older generation who only had print books know damn well that the kids today can't even put a grammatically correct sentence together, let alone speak coherently........despite all this new "techno" stuff. The brains are being rewired so as to undo the abiltiy to think and concentrate for extended periods of time. These new ebooks have colour images...so what? That's not the purpose of books. The purpose is to stir the imagination and spur thinking. We of the older generation did perfectly well without these ebooks. If the american people fall for this mass marketing campaign, they are fools. Why spend hundreds of dollars and shoot radiation into your eyes and head with computer screen reading? I'd rather have a pocketbook I can put on my stomach in bed or under the tree, or in my pocket, write notes or highlight passages
