I want to get a Sony reader digital book. I would like to know if you like it for the people who has this device.
It's okay, I'd go with the Amazon Kindle though. I've had both, and would say I got more out of the Kindle.

Sony's.
Im thinking of buying Sony's Reader Digital Book PRS-505, but only if I can use the books that I download from the Gutenburg Project. Does anyone know if they're compatible?
Yes! Project Gutenberg books are available in plain text, so you can use the material to create ebooks that may be read on almost any device or you can just read add the text file to the reader. Many of these files have already been converted into Sony's format (LRF) for easy readability.
Here are a couple sites with free ebooks available:

I just learned that i am getting the Kindle from my husband for christmas.(so excited) Anyway i was looking at the add for target and came across the digital reader from sony. Does anyone know what the difference is??? If so which one is better then??? thanks( although i am keeping the Kindle -its from my husband.)
In addition to the advantages mentioned by the other posters, the Kindle has on more major one - the selection available. Amazon currently offers about 185,000 titles in Kindle format, and they're adding more all the time. The last time I checked, the Sony only had about 20,000 titles available. With that much selection available, you can pretty much guarantee always having something to read that you will enjoy.
I heard a lot of users complain that digital readers does not feel like reading a real book. Is that true? If so what would make it feel like a real book?
Two reasons why e-book readers didn't pick up in the market were
1. Lack of availability of content
2. High pricing / Lack of marketting or business model that justify the cost.

France, Grudgingly, Imagines Google as a Partner on Digital Media Projects New York Times
Google is highly popular with many Internet users in France, where it controls about 80 percent of the search market. But the French cultural elite has not always been as welcoming, because Google’s growing presence demonstrates France’s dependence on the company to develop its digital media business.
As a result, France has yet to find a successful way of involving Google in various projects. First, France tried a coercive approach, suggesting that Google ought to help aid the beleaguered music industry, and recently even threatened an antitrust investigation into the company.
Then it tried a more conciliatory move, proposing a partnership with Google to accelerate the development of a viable French digital library. But even on projects agreed to by both sides, the details have often hindered progress.
Google’s challenges in France are certainly more modest than its problems in China, where the company said this week that it was no longer willing to comply with demands for Web censorship, and might have to pull out of the country as a result. But they underline the complexities that Internet companies like Google face in balancing the desire for global growth with the need to abide by local laws and sensibilities.
