Can Amazon Kindle browse Web for free? If it's free, why do they charge for Blogs and newspaper web site?
AisleOne, Kindle Edition

I read many reviews, and this is never clear. Amazon charges you to subscribe New York Times, Washington post, blogs on Kindle. But if the web browsing is free, who will pay?

Yes it's free for now, but it is rumored that Amazon starts to charge it when "experimental period" ends. Notice that web browser is in the "experimental" section of Kindle.

Can I make document categories on my Kindle?
Kindle home view

My list of books, blogs, personal documents, and periodicals is getting to be many pages long on my Kindle - I cannot find any function for putting them into categories, much like the Kindle Store is organized.

Any help out there?

You can't do this on the Kindle 1.0. It wouldn't surprise me if this is one of the features they will be rolling out for the Kindle 2.0.

Kindle, to spark or light a fire, a review. Gather.com

The Kindle electronic reader from Amazon.com is probably the most popular of this new way to read books, magazines and blogs (Sony’s E-Reader is almost if not as popular).

I had heard about this device over a year ago when the original Kindle was released. I immediately loved the idea of it, however I waited to see what would become of it, and also I compared it to the Sony E-Reader, which was smaller and less expensive.

But I couldn’t wait long and with the announcement of the Kindle 2 I just had to have one. With the wireless internet connection the Kindle offers, making it independent of transferring documents and books downloaded from your computer I had to choose the Kindle.

When I got my Kindle it was everything I expected and more, I couldn’t have been more satisfied with it. I can store up to 1,500 titles on it, I can add or subtract titles at will yet re-download an unlimited number of times any book I have purchased to my Kindle.
